As I was reading the sad story of Britney Spears the other day. (The singer has been under her father’s guardianship since 2008).
I realized that’s it’s really sad how many parents exploit their children through show business.
Even if the child wants to be a musician, actor or performer. I don’t think it’s healthy for the child to be exposed to such a world.
Let them have their childhood in a normal way, and if they are really that talented once they turn 18 they will decided how to use their talent.
Britney Spears is just one example of someone that was put in the industry much too young.
There are many more stories that ended really badly, of people that started their careers in the entertainment industry before turning 18.
A CHILD SHOULD HAVE A CHILDHOOD NOT A CAREER
It does not matter how talented a child is, they must never be put into show business, it’s not healthy for their mental health.
No wonder Britney Spears ended up in a psychiatric hospital in her 30s, and under the guardianship of her father.
This is pure child exploitation! And it’s sickening.
A parent’s job is to raise their children in a safe and comfortable environment, not to have their children work instead of them, while only the parent enjoys the hard earned money.
Because none of these child stars usually get to 30 in good mental health.
LIKE THE OLSEN TWINS…
Another sad example are the Olsen twins.
Yes they are billionaires by now, but they are miserable emotionally.
Their parents have stolen their childhood forever.
Many parents of child stars come up with the excuse of “they are doing it for the child’s future”. (Like Justin Bieber’s mother…)
Responsible parents that love their children, would never in a million years, put their children into such a corrupt and mentally unhealthy place, that is show business.
I am also very tired of seeing these little toddlers being put into talent shows or exploited through online videos.
Just an example… Yes he is cute, but a child should not be on television. It’s very stressful for the child to go into such places. Let them be children. As for the parents, go to work instead of parading your child around like a circus monkey!
What about the child’s privacy?
What about the child’s emotional wellbeing?
Is it only the money you care about?
