NATURAL REMEDIES TO FIGHT LYME DISEASE

When I was diagnosed with Lyme’s disease a while ago, I decided I wanted nature to be my medicine.

I use only natural antibiotics to fight the infection.

Since I believe that nature gives us everything we need to stay healthy.

The only “downside” to natural remedies is that they take longer to heal you. Although it’s been two months since I started the therapy and I’m feeling 50% better already.

But since in the past I have had terrible allergic reactions from conventional antibiotics, I wasn’t going to risk it anymore.

After I consulted with many naturopaths and alternative nutritionists and I found the therapy that best suits me.

I AM NOT A DOCTOR AND I DON’T INTEND TO CURE ANYBODY

I just want to share my experience with Lyme’s disease and how I approach the therapy I chose.

The most important thing to do to fight Lyme’s disease is to strengthen the immune system as much as possible.

In many recent years researchers have proven that 80% of our immune system depends on the health of our gut.

Having a healthy intestinal bacterial flora helps us fight many illnesses, but especially chronic diseases.

My main antibiotics are peppermint oil in high doses, oregano oil, allicin (garlic extract) and dried bovine colostrum (lactoferrin).

Along with these I also take 4 grams of ginger powder daily, to lower the inflammation.

High doses of vitamin C (L-ascorbic) and high doses of different types of magnesium (like citrate and ascorbate).

To clean the gut from toxins released by the dead bacteria (which are killed by the antibiotics) I take active carbon pills early in the morning.

PREBIOTICS AND PROBIOTICS ARE REALLY IMPORTANT

I mentioned above that 80% of our immune system depends on the health of our gut, so it is really important to eat prebiotics and probiotics.

Lacto fermented foods are very useful to heal our guts, as they contain the good bacteria that keep us healthy.

Also boiling foods that contain starch, (like basmati rice, tapioca, yams, sweet potatoes and normal potatoes) and then cooling them down in the fridge over night, creates natural excellent prebiotics that feed the good bacteria.

OTHER SUPPLEMENTS I TAKE TO STRENGTHEN MY IMMUNE SYSTEM

– Vitamin A, D3, K1-K2, E-complex

– Vitamin B12 (in its methylcobalamin form) through oral spray

– B-complex vitamins

– co-enzyme Q10

– selenium in methylated form

– iodine

– zinc

– cupper

– omega 3 from fish oil
