On a daily basis I have arguments with both men and women about gender differences. And trust me, there are many differences between men and women.
We are all equal in front of the law and we should all have the same human rights. But in everything else we are so different it’s like we came from different planets.
There are of course similarities in certain behaviors and interests.
Men and women see, perceive and live the world in completely different ways, and they want different things…
Obviously I generalize, mainly because it’s easier, but generalization comes from observing the most common traits within a population.
So, if by reading this you feel like saying “this is nothing like me” then probably you are the exception to the rule.
WHY MOST WOMEN WANT SAFETY?
The main thing women are looking for in life, is SAFETY. And most women will do anything to have that safety, especially the emotional one, but also financial safety.
Biologically speaking, women were created to create life, therefore give birth and raise children.
And to do so one needs safety, you cannot be a risk taker if you are raising your child, it would jeopardize the chances of survival of the child. You cannot raise a child in financial and emotional instability.
This of course doesn’t mean that women’s only job on this planet is to have children. Actually everyone should have the right to decide for themselves what they want to do in life. But your hormones, which determine your mood and interests for most of your life, make you behave in certain ways.
Women tend to be less career oriented, they prefer to have a steady job that gives them security, instead of being entrepreneurs, managers and leaders.
Although some women, who were exposed to higher levels of testosterone while developing in their mothers’ wombs, are manlier and have more similarities to men, but they aren’t men. They just tend to be more risk takers, career oriented and adventurous, and usually aren’t interested in having children.
WHY ARE SELF IMPROVEMENT VIDEOS OFTEN WRONG
I constantly read and watch self help books and videos, where they tell you to take more risks in life. Have the courage to do things you want to do in life, but are too afraid to.
Sure it’s great advice, but not everyone has that high level of testosterone that makes them brave risk takers. People with high levels of testosterone, mostly men, actually enjoy taking risks it’s in their nature, and would probably suffer if they had to live a safe predictable life.
Half the population doesn’t have enough testosterone to be naturally brave.
Is this an excuse for not changing your life to the better? No. But many people have a much harder time to be brave.
Many people will have to use more vital energy to be who they aren’t naturally.
On the long run it will exhaust them and make them ill.
This is why so many women nowadays suffer from anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks and have so many health problems, that are related to stress, which is caused by the lack of safety.
A little advice that can help women is to know when you’re naturally the bravest. During the ovulation phase of your cycle.
On this link you can find more about the menstrual cycle and how to use it to your benefit:
WHY DO WE HAVE TO ADAPT TO A MANLY WORLD?
Us women, and more feminine men, we have to live in a manly men shaped world, and we are constantly told to adapt to it. WHY?
I always believe that we should highlight each gender’s strengths and cooperate, instead of having such a one sided world, where only a few are able to succeed.
